Roasting
As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is gentle on the palate and mellows into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a delicious coffee which can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It is a great match with lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.
When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to ensure it is warm and ready for brewing. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water is then pushed through the grounds with the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this can lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.
Strength - 3 is a little softer and easygoing, great for weekend getaways.
